This type of Alert is very similar to the National Defense Alert Status, except it pertains to the U.S. Militia with regards to Preparedness and Danger Levels and warnings for U.S. Citizens.  It also uses the Alert Status to notify Militia and Patriot Groups and Units as to current conditions that might require immediate Attention, Readiness or Action.
