Situation : Explosions in Boston and related incidents
Monday, April 15th 2013
As of this afternoon during the Boston Marathon, there were explosions, with casualties and massive injuries.
Mainstream media is doing its typical job of monitoring police scanners, hospital radios and attending official press conferences. The matter is fluid and initial reports are changing rapidly.
As of now, our Watchmen State Groups and affiliates are on upgraded alert levels for the benefit of the public as well as our families and so forth.
We advise all citizens to be on high awareness as these may or may not be isolated incidents. As for ourselves, the Watchmen of America, we can assure the public that we are watching this with all due diligence.
Please cooperate with local Law Enforcement, or emergency services so they can assure a swift recovery for all involved.
We will be posting information as fast as it can be confirmed on our website, and other places to make sure the truth, and only the truth will be presented to the public, if it is unconfirmed or rumor, we will state that also.
Please be aware there will be rumors, trolls and others who take advantage of such acts of destruction. Ignore them and search for the truth yourself, it’s out there.
Please use good judgment in all reactions and words chosen with interactions.
All members of Watchmen of America’s hearts are full of hope and prayers go out to loved ones who were injured or killed during this time.

21:25 GMT: Police have asked people in immediate area of explosion to refrain from using mobile phones.

SUBJECT: 2 EXPLOSIONS AT THE BOSTON MARATHON
FURTHER SEARCHES FOR IED's ONGOING
Two major explosions in downtown Boston, makings of IED's. Several other suspicious items at many other locations. All cell service has been terminated due to possible additional IED triggers. FAA has closed Boston airspace. There are possible incidents being reported as well in New York City. Advice is to get out of all major cities. Stayed tuned to your national news.
Turn to all news channels or police scanners in Boston or New York. If you are located outside of these cities, take major cautions as well. This looks to be quite coordinated.
Reports from Several States, that Home Phone and Cell Phone Services have now been disrupted and shut off as potential prevention of setting off other explosions.

UM Coach: Bomb Sniffing Dogs Were at Start, Finish Lines for “Drill”
University of Mobile’s Cross Country Coach, who was near the finish line of the Boston Marathon when a series of explosions went off, said he thought it was odd there were bomb sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines.
“They kept making announcements on the loud speaker that it was just a drill and there was nothing to worry about,” Coach Ali Stevenson told Local 15. “It seemed like there was some sort of threat, but they kept telling us it was just a drill.”
Stevenson had just finished the marathon. His wife had been sitting in one of the seating sections where an explosion went off, but thankfully she left her seat and was walking to meet up with him.
“There was just smoke, another explosion went off,” Stevenson said. “We all started running. There were people crying.”
Stevenson said there was no question in his mind that this was an intentional act.
Local 15 News is talking with more locals who were taking part in the run.
